Rock-a bye-bye

This series has been very successful thanks to all of you. Unfortunately it has also been short and sweet, as April will be the last one. I just don’t have the time to organize it any more.
One of the reasons for this is an impending move to Kingston in the fall. The series may be reincarnated there sometime in the future.
Whether you are a regular or a newbie, please come out to the Tranzac and help us Rock out one last time on April 26th. See previous post.
If you or anyone you know would like to keep the series going by taking over the organizational duties, please let me know and I’ll pass on all my knowledge and wisdom;)
If you liked my “work” and would like to pay me to organize something for you, drop me a line:)

Rockin’ the Cradle #4 April 26th

On April 26th, from 1 -3pm we will be entertained by the Gnomes and Michelle Rumball
As usual, there will be scarves and shakers and dancing space available as well as a craft table where you can make your own shaker, and a change table for wee bums. Everyone is Welcome aged 0-1000. It’s PWYC (keeping in mind that what you put in the basket is what the musicians will take home as payment).

The cradle’s still swingin’!

Hey everyone. Thanks for coming Rockin’ the Cradle #3. What a turn-out! When I arrived to set up, it was a dark and stormy day and the power was out, so it was looking a bit dismal. Fortunately Dirty Dishes have powerful voices and were all ready to play unplugged. Then, just before 1, Shelby Lamb walked in and all the lights came back on. Really! It was amazing. Brunch was wonderful and we had the largest crowd so far.

We finally got the sound the exact right volume so it wouldn’t hurt even the newest baby’s ears, but still sounded fantastic. Thanks to everyone who helped out (Maureen and family), Natasha, Kyle, Amira, Chrissy and Cassandra and the Tranzac gang etc.)

If you missed this show, don’t worry, there is a large chance both dirty Dishes and Shelby Lamb will play again soon.

Stay tuned for info on #4 in April (April 26th, 1-3pm).

The Gnomes will be playing as well as someone else, whom I have not yet confirmed.
